The StopCVE National Coalition is led and convened by Muslim Justice League (MJL). Vision for the coalition is informed by grassroots community based organizations like MJL, Palestinian Youth Movement, and Vigilant Love.
History: MJL has led a national coordination call for those organizing and advocating against CVE since 2015, which grew exponentially in 2018 when CVE programs were initiated in many more cities across the US. The calls began as a place for sharing information and tactics, but as CVE expanded, we shifted towards developing collective resources, deepening our knowledge together, and building a cohesive national strategy that will connect and empower all of the local organizing efforts.
Now we are taking on CVE nationally, to end all CVE programs at the federal level including under its current names: Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships (CP3) and Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention (TVTP).
